What services do you provide?

We offer premium event styling services, including bespoke balloon installations, custom backdrops, curated prop hire, and complete event décor solutions for private and corporate events.

Do you offer customised designs?

Yes. All designs are tailored to align with your event objectives, brand identity, or personal vision or party there. We collaborate closely with our all clients to deliver the most refined, cohesive, and impactful styling.

How far in advance should bookings be made?

We recommend booking a minimum of 2–4 weeks in advance. Availability may be limited during peak periods, and early confirmation is always advised to secure your preferred date, however we will always do our best to accommodate your dates.

Do you provide delivery, installation, and collection after the event?

Yes. Our service includes professional delivery, installation, and collection of all materials to ensure a seamless and efficient experience from start to finish.

How long do balloon installations last?

Indoor balloon installations typically last between 24–48 hours. Outdoor installations are subject to environmental conditions and longevity cannot be guaranteed.

What locations do you service?

We service South and North Holland and surrounding areas. Travel outside our standard service area may incur additional fees. Please contact us to discuss your needs and location of your event, we are willing to travel.

Is a deposit required?

A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. The remaining balance must be paid in full prior to the event date, as outlined in your quotation.

What is your policy on damaged or lost hire items?

Clients are responsible for all hire items from delivery to collection. Any loss or damage beyond fair wear and tear may result in repair or replacement charges as outlined in your quotation.

Can hire items be self-collected?

Selected items may be available for client collection. Larger installations, balloon styling, and complex structures require professional installation and are not eligible for self-collection. Please contact us for more detail on your event needs.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellations must be submitted in writing. Deposits are non-refundable, and cancellations within 2 days of the event may incur additional charges as detailed in our terms and conditions.

Do you use environmentally responsible materials?

Where possible, we use premium-quality biodegradable latex balloons and promote responsible disposal practices. Where possible we ensure all our Balloon releases are not supported.

Hire Terms & Conditions

​

1. Definitions

1.1 Company: Carried Away EU, established in the Netherlands.
1.2 Client: Any natural person or legal entity entering into an agreement with the Company.
1.3 Hire Items: All balloons, backdrops, props, structures, styling elements, and materials supplied by the Company.
1.4 Agreement: The agreement between the Company and the Client, including these Terms & Conditions, the quotation, and any written confirmations.
1.5 Event Date: The date on which the services are performed.

2. Applicability

2.1 These Terms & Conditions apply to all quotations, agreements, and services provided by the Company.
2.2 Any deviations from these Terms & Conditions are valid only if agreed in writing.
2.3 The applicability of the Client’s general terms and conditions is expressly excluded.

​​3. Quotations & Booking

3.1 All quotations are non-binding and subject to availability unless stated otherwise.
3.2 A booking is confirmed only after written acceptance of the quotation and receipt of the required deposit.
3.3 By confirming the booking, the Client declares acceptance of these Terms & Conditions

4. Payment Terms

4.1 A non-refundable deposit is required to secure the Event Date.
4.2 The remaining balance must be paid in full prior to the Event Date, as stated on the invoice.
4.3 All prices are exclusive of BTW, unless stated otherwise.
4.4 In the event of late payment, the Company is entitled to suspend or cancel services without liability. Statutory (commercial) interest and collection costs may be charged in accordance with Dutch law.

5. Cancellation & Postponement

5.1 Cancellations must be submitted in writing.
5.2 Deposits are non-refundable under all circumstances.
5.3 In the event of cancellation within 2 days prior to the Event Date, the Company may charge up to 100% of the agreed total amount.
5.4 Postponements are subject to availability and may result in additional costs.

6. Delivery, Installation & Collection

6.1 Delivery, installation, and collection are included unless agreed otherwise in writing.
6.2 Setup and collection times are determined by the Company in consultation with the venue.
6.3 The Client must ensure timely access to the venue. Delays caused by the Client or venue may result in reduced service or additional charges.

7. Balloon Installations

7.1 Balloon installations are temporary decorative elements.
7.2 Indoor balloon installations typically last 24 – 48 hours; outdoor installations are subject to weather conditions.
7.3 The Company cannot guarantee durability in cases of heat, cold, wind, rain, sunlight, or other environmental factors.
7.4 No refunds, replacements, or compensation will be provided for weather-related damage.

8. Responsibility for Hire Items

8.1 The Client is responsible for all Hire Items from the moment of delivery until collection.
8.2 Hire Items may not be moved, altered, or used for purposes other than agreed without written consent.
8.3 Loss, theft, or damage beyond normal wear and tear will be charged at replacement or repair value.

9. Damage, Loss & Cleaning

9.1 Normal wear and tear is accepted.
9.2 Damage caused by misuse, negligence, or third parties engaged by the Client is the Client’s responsibility.
9.3 Additional cleaning, repair, or replacement costs will be invoiced to the Client.

10. Venue & Safety

10.1 The Client must inform the Company of all venue regulations, restrictions, and safety requirements.
10.2 The Company reserves the right to adapt installations to comply with venue rules and Dutch safety standards.
10.3 The Company is not liable for changes imposed by the venue or authorities.

11. Liability

11.1 The Company’s liability is limited to direct damage and to a maximum of the invoice value of the relevant Agreement, unless mandatory Dutch law provides otherwise.
11.2 The Company is not liable for indirect damage, including consequential loss, loss of profit, or business interruption.
11.3 The Client indemnifies the Company against claims from third parties resulting from the use or presence of Hire Items.

12. Force Majeure (Overmacht)

12.1 The Company is not liable for failure or delay in performance due to force majeure as defined under Dutch law, including but not limited to extreme weather, government measures, pandemics, strikes, venue closures, or transportation issues.
12.2 In case of force majeure, the Company will make reasonable efforts to reschedule services where possible.

13. Environmental Responsibility

13.1 The Company uses biodegradable latex balloons where possible.
13.2 Balloon releases are strictly prohibited.
13.3 The Client agrees to dispose of materials responsibly and in accordance with environmental regulations in the case of clients wishing to keep balloons from balloon installations .

14. Amendments

14.1 Any changes to the Agreement must be requested in writing and are subject to availability.
14.2 Additional costs may apply for late or substantial changes.

15. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

15.1 All agreements and these Terms & Conditions are governed exclusively by the laws of the Netherlands.
15.2 Any disputes shall be submitted exclusively to the competent court in the district where the Company is established.

16. Acceptance

16.1 Payment of the deposit or any invoice constitutes full acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
16.2 If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force.
